11月1日-3日，厚仁教育携手创新地图，共同为由中国著名的风险投资人王煜全老师率领的“创新科技投资考察团”48位投资人奉上了一场科创投资盛宴，在匹兹堡这座美国新兴的高科技与生物医疗强市，进行高新科技公司的参观访问，并寻求潜在的投资机会。

参访团转战宾州著名的科技投资公司Innovation Works 在Stage AE举办的Demo Day。StageAE, 这个可以容纳2400人的场馆，座无虚席。数百家公司的CEO、总裁欢聚在这里，观摩16家科技公司的展示，包括MusicEverywhere、Honeycomb等。
会后Innovation Works的总裁与经理对于厚仁教育在协调此次参访团来匹兹堡进行访问一事也给予高度肯定，他们非常感谢厚仁教育通过这次的行程安排，连接中美的科技创新事业，让更多的海外投资者发现匹兹堡的价值。

11月3日上午，在离开匹兹堡当天的最后一站，科技投资团来到了全美最大的机器人研发中心––National Robotics Engineering Center 进行参观访问。该中心的战略业务发展总监Jeff Legault 热情接待了参访团，夏焜教授也陪同一起前往。团员们参观了非常著名的研发产品，例如2007年的DARPA城市挑战赛（Urban Challenge）中，摘得自动驾驶改装车冠军的“Boss”。
